The Screwtape Letters

The Screwtape Letters is a series of instructional letters written by Uncle Screwtape, a senior demon, to Wormwood, his inexperienced nephew, on how to tempt and win the soul of his assigned human (referred to throughout the story only as "the patient"). This brilliant work of satire examines the Christian faith from the inverted perspective of the devils in Hell. It is a cautionary tale for Christians to remain vigilant amidst ongoing spiritual warfare for their souls.
In March 2023 at Anderson University, I arranged, produced, and directed an original stage adaptation of C. S. Lewis' The Screwtape Letters as a one-man show to fulfill my senior capstone project requirement for graduation. I presented two performances on campus and two additional performances at two local churches in Anderson, SC. Post-graduation, in February 2024, I performed this show for two chapel services at Kings Ridge Christian School in Alpharetta, GA.
